John, thanks for the extra posting. Thats a real cool thing to do.
I think you are being extremely hard on yourself regarding the original podcast. Comment are just that, comments and not necessarily critisms. You got us thinking and that a good thing. I am not a believer in God, Jesus and any kind of faith. For me, I do not understand how the modern man can believe in such mumbo jumbo when science proves soon many other things. A God that we asked to believe in that can, or allows people to drown, burn and blow up is definitely NOT for me, especially when these actions are done in reglion. But I think Christmas is a great time at the end of the year to sit back and look at things we have done and created and to start t think about the future and if that is done through the haze of a well deserved drink - so be it! I would rather have the religion bit knocked out of Christmas, regardless of the fact it may or may not have started with that its nub! Keep up the excellent podcasting - you are a star and will be recognised - but don't be harsh on yourself. Best wishes, Richard Vobes Re: Dissident Vox - Podcast Comment
Hmm. The return to traditional values although the general trend is opposite. It is an opinion. Although I don't agree with it. But I agree with my previous commenter: there's no need for apologies for some comments. I have lost my faith since I came to reason about most of the things surrounding me. It didn't provide any answers and I didn't feel less encumbered when I told a prair. It rather felt like baggage. So Christmas remains for me a period of celebration through symbols of fertility, which, by the way have a greater logic: a new year is celebrated as the biggest holiday in the calendar.
