
The Independent is carrying an excellent article highlighting the governments infringements on individuals civil liberties, and the restrictions currently being placed on free-speech in the UK.
Two grandmothers from Yorkshire (both in their 60's), could face up to a year in prison, after walking 15 feet across a Sentry line at the US military base at Menwith Hill in North Yorkshire. The two women will find out if they are to face prosecution when they return to Harrogate Police station on April 15th.

Following as it does on the back of a raft of repressive legislation and a series of high-profile cases, this is a yet another warning from the government, that those who cross their carefully drawn lines, will face very stern penalties indeed.
