Some of the Video webloggers are proving to be really original and
engaging at the moment. Vlogs are still in their infancy, but its great
to see such a sense of fun and potential in the way that video is being
used over the web.
Take a peek at the daily Vlog over at Rocketboom hosted by Amanda Congdon. I found this via the 'everywhere at onceness' that is the Scobelizer.
You might also want to say hello to Boston City Councillor John Tobin who is the first US elected official with a vlog.
If you are feeling a bit more surreal Human dog Productions might be your thing. But if you are just looking to capture the manic energy of the whole thing start with Michael "I am the message" Verdi.

Regrettably the john tobin blog is censored so as to coverup the foibles of our city council. Instead of providing the robust forum that a flexible blog could be, it becoming relatively more and more progandizing.

I can't say that in any way suprises me. I referenced the site, because I thought it helped illustrate the types of uses we are starting to see in vlogs. Hopefully some good candidate blogs will emerge in the future. I won't hold my breath tho!
