I'm taking a little time off from the heavy work today. My energy level is low, and I really feel like avoiding the computer. Sometimes, I develop a kind of 'information phobia' which manifests as a pressing desire not to have any more content squeezed into my overcrowded head!

The news feeds were grim today, grim but not sensational. So therefore there is no news. At least as far as the mainstream media goes. Thus we get fed our regular chapter of the Jackson distraction, and a slew of sensationalist court cases, alongside a dose or two of daily terror, crime, and fear. And if you care, there's the usual establishment financial news. Oh and whatever you do don't forget to brush up on the latest sports, and celebrity fluff!

I guess we can consider ourselves well informed now!? We have sucked on the straw, and drunk all the milk like good little children. We can feel rightly proud that we have sniffed out the story. Oh yes, we  have our digital fingers firmly upon the electronic pulse.

Elsewhere, no-one seems to care how dishonest or disreputable the Russian government is, or for that matter China. The fact that both the US and UK administrations now blatantly admit their use of fake news stories to spread propaganda is also barely worth a mention.

We live in an age, when even if you're famous, you can get in trouble for wearing the wrong T-shirt! But don't worry, folks because Big Brother only needs to watch over you with surveilance camera's that track your every move for your own protection!

That's all for today. I'll get the podcast up sometime before Thursday. In the meantime, if you are tempted to feel like it's not going well for you today. Spare a thought for the forgotten people in Afghanistan. Now that's what I call cold and hungry.
