Whilst the US government concentrates it's focus on using its most advanced technology for military purposes, the Japanese seem to be implementing it rapidly into the commercial and industrial spheres. Speaking of the coming decade Kazuya Abe, a top official at NEDO, the national institute in charge of coordinating science research and development in Japan said;

"People are and will be living alongside robots, which are seen here as more than just machines. This is all about AI about the creation of something that is not human, but can be a complement or companion to humans in society. That future is happening here now."

This is like something out of a 60's Star Trek episode!

These 'fembots' are so advanced, that they can understand 40,000 phrases in each of four languages, and have facial expressions to match the more than 2,000 types of answers they can give.

The thing that immediately strikes me is that they look like plastic surgery victims. It's beyond bizarre that this is the world we live in. How long before they are
everywhere, and can you imagine where this is going!!?
